INFINTE II PORTABLE MEASURING ARM
The NEW INFINITE 2.0 is Cimcore’s easiest to use and most accurate articulating arm ever. New handling and performance features – along with patented infinite rotation, quick-change probes, exclusive wireless connectivity and battery power – provide INFINITE portability and measuring power. INFINITE 2.0 plus models, with unsurpassed repeatability and volumetric accuracy, are ideal for the most demanding inspection tasks.

1. Patented infinite rotation of principle axes allows inspection in difficult-to-reach areas.
2. With the new Bridge-CMM class TESA kinematic multiwire probe joint, you get unsurpassed measuring performance. Carbon fibre probes feature automatic probe recognition.
3. A new smaller, easy-grip head features an LED work light and an integrated digital camera which allows the operator to graphically document a setup.
4. New SpinGrip infinite-rotating grips at elbow and forearm provide two low friction grip positions for better ergonomics. SpinGrips allow the CMM to ‘float’ in the operator’s hands, maximising accuracy and minimising operator fatigue. |
5. Heidenhain encoders, manufactured to our specifications, offer ‘wide track’ bearing support which enhances performance.
6. Advanced carbon filter arm tubes are strong, lightweight, thermally stable and feature a lifetime warranty.
7. An improved, low profile Zero-G counterbalance reduces operator fatigue and delivers effortless control in all positions, including above and below centre line.
8. An upgraded 802.11g WIFI connection– transmitting up to 6 times farther and 50 times faster than Bluetooth – allows the operator to position the computer where it is most convenient. |
9. A Li-lon battery allows on site inspection with AC power or cables. A sealed battery cover prevents contamination of the battery compartment or accidental dislodging of the battery.
10. A quick-clip probe holster keeps three spare probes and the change key safe and handy.
11. The universal mounting system attaches to a variety of bases, and includes a magnetic mount for a smaller footprint and simplified set up. |

STINGER IIi PORTABLE MEASURING ARM

The STINGER IIi™ portable CMM is your cost-effective solution for inspection, measuring and reverse engineering challenges, with powerful new features such as infinite rotation and integrated counterbalance!
Features include:
Patented INFINITE ROTATION of principle axes allows inspection of hard-to-reach areas and avoids damaging the arm against rotational hard stops.
Intelligent quick-change probes changeable on-the-fly without tools or the need to re-calibrate. The system automatically recognizes and compensates for the type of probe installed. This saves a significant amount of time during the inspection process.
Integrated Zero-G counterbalance offsets the weight of the arm and probe, thereby reducing operator fatigue and allowing one-handed operation.
Carbon fibre composite arm tubes that are stronger than steel and dimensionally stable regardless of temperature. STINGER IIi has a lifetime warranty on these carbon fiber tubes.

What Software Can I Use With Cimcore?
The operator’s choice for portable probing measurement devices, PowerInspect leads the way by delivering a complete CAD based inspection solution.
GridLOK
GridLOK allows the expansion of CimCore’s measuring arm volume without any increased cost and complexity typically associated with large CMMs while maintaining levels of accuracy.
GridLOK is based on using a number of conical seats mounted into a concrete floor or steel plate in a grid formation. The seats are accurately mapped to create a master reference in which an arm is able to be moved without loss of accuracy.
Advantages:
- The unique design enables inspection of detail inside, behind, and underneath large components where traditional static forms of measurement fail.
- The GridLOK patented design allows any number of CimCore arms to be used simultaneously on the same component or in tandem using the same reference system thus reducing inspection time and increasing productivity.
- The Grid has a volumetric accuracy of ± 0.050mm, whether in a standard measuring volume of 6m x 4m or bespoke volume of 60m x 60m.
- Shopfloor space is not wasted. When GridLok is not being used, factory floor space can be utilised for other activities.
- Virtually no training or instruction required. The user places a probe in three of the conical seats and is immediately automatically locked into the common reference system, without any program interruption, button pushes or software actions.

TooLOK
TooLOK is a practical, quick and simple method to automate inspection of tools, fixtures and components.
By contacting three pre-qualified points the measurement software automatically:
- Recognises the part
- Aligns and references
- Loads the CAD file and inspection routine
- Guides the operator as to where to measure during the program
TooLOK allows users to quickly inspect and generate inspection reports without prior knowledge or training with the measurement software. In addition TooLOK reduces confusion and eliminates time spent searching for files and inspection routines.
