Sub-Contract Inspection

EuroPac Metrology is able to provide a full range of sub-contract measuring and reporting services covering all types of inspection work using:

• High accuracy bridge co-ordinate measuring machine (CMM) for precision automotive or aerospace type components. Measuring volume X 1000 mm x Y 700 mm x Z 500 mm.
  
  
• Horizontal arm CMM for larger components up to X 2500 mm x Y 1500 mm x Z 1500 mm.
  
  
• Cimcore portable measuring arms available for on-site inspection.
  
  
• Photogrammetry system for large in-situ component inspection.

• Single part or batch inspection
  
  
• Direct inspection to CAD design data including all common formats IGES, CATIA, IDEAS, Parasolid, Pro ENGINEER, Solidworks, Unigraphics, Vda Etc
  
  
• Flexibility of measurement. The full range of metrology equipment means no part is too large or small. If parts are too heavy to move or have difficult to access features EuroPac has a solution.
  
  
• Investigational measurement and liaison to solve production problems.

Sub-Contract Reverse Engineering/ Digitising

With a wide range of metrology equipment and experience EuroPac can provide a full reverse engineering service by utilising traditional probing technology or the latest laser scanners.

EuroPac can rapidly and accurately produce three-dimensional representations that can be reversed into CAD design used for prototyping, die making, product development and associated activities.

Measuring Consultancy Service

EuroPac’s vast knowledge of metrology and inspection linked to its measuring equipment and software has been applied to offer an unrivalled measurement consultancy service.

Advice and guidance can be given on application specific products or on software choice and analysis. A dedicated software training room enables customers to have the opportunity to view different software, and receive an impartial overview.
